The 5 days of training will be held in the Denver Metro area but candidates from other parts of the state may have the option to attend via a web portal. More details will be provided in the coming weeks. 
There will only be 2 Entrepreneurship training sessions for the year and candidates must be available to attend each day between 9am to 5pm.
After the 5 day training, leading Colorado efficiency and renewable energy companies will help participants take practical steps to further analyze and develop their business and financial plans, set up accounting and operations systems, create sales and marketing strategies, obtaining licenses and copyrights, and where to find venture capital.

Each entrepreneur will schedule up to 11 hours of additional mentoring with these professionals to review and finalize their business plans during 2012. Consultation time will be scheduled as needed into a minimum one hour and maximum of four hour sessions based on need and availability. 
All of your business ideas will be protected by non-disclosure agreements signed by our industry partners to ensure your proprietary information remains confidential. 
If you know someone who is unemployed and not receiving a salary that is a potential candidate for Entrepreneurship training please contact us. Candidates will need to complete an application and provide documentation for evidence of their eligibility to Colorado Dept. of Labor &amp; Employment before being officially enrolled. 
There will only be one training in March and one in April so candidates must respond quickly because space is limited.
This training is paid for by Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.

Engineering Instructional Content Developer - telecommute, work at home.  This is a contractor role. We are seeking FT, PT, whatever fits your schedule.  We simply need the work product and we need you to report to our studio when you are ready to film your presentation.
Description:  If you are an engineer who enjoys explaining and teaching engineering concepts, PPI has an opportunity for you.  We are looking for engineers who can create lessons on fundamental engineering concepts for our company. This is full-time opportunity with some flexibility; it may fit well with a teaching schedule.
Your primary responsibility will be to plan and create lessons, which we will shoot with you on video. You may use PowerPoint, a tablet, a whiteboard, or other means to convey the information efficiently and accurately. We will take care of all editing and production. You will need to become comfortable in front of the camera. 
The lessons typically include some background, theory, and equations, as well as an example of how the equations are used to solve problems. We need engineers/teachers who can develop the subject of each lesson, summarize the important points, and demonstrate techniques, as well as explain them on video. You may even be able to demonstrate short cuts, but always based on solid fundamentals. 
While experience and technical expertise are important, it is equally important to be able to research, develop, and deliver content that is outside your primary area of study/practice. Experience in the electrical, civil, and mechanical engineering disciplines is helpful.
Pay will be commensurate with experience as well as breadth and depth of knowledge.
Skills Required:
Ability to Research topics and extract pertinent detail
Ability to condense/summarize information
Adept at explaining things
Intermediate to advance level of PowerPoint skills
Comfortable or quickly adaptable to instructing in front of a camera
Articulate and presentable
Qualifications:
Teacher or instructor of engineering topics such as &quot;engineering fundamentals&quot;.
